Unique interim opportunity for experienced litigator to join public sector body.

Job Description

This interim role, based in Edinburgh, spans a period of six months with a prominent public sector organisation.

The position offers a diverse range of litigation work, including Court of Session litigation with a primary focus on judicial review cases. It may also occasionally involve handling matters before the Upper Tribunal.

The organisation welcomes applications from candidates with a minimum of 1-year PQE who hold a valid practising certificate issued by the Law Society of Scotland. Ideal candidates will have civil litigation experience and, preferably, experience litigating in the Court of Session (though this is desirable, not essential). Candidates with other experience in government work, or those with criminal law experience are also invited to apply.
