We have an exciting opportunity for a trainee to join our busy and growing practice. The role will involve preparation of complex cases, instructing Counsel in the High Court of Justiciary as well as appearing in Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts across central Scotland. The role will commence immediately or subject to agreement..
The ideal candidate will be confident, motivated and articulate with a genuine interest in criminal law, demonstrated by evidence. The candidate will have aspirations to appear in court and be amenable to an application for early admission to the roll of solicitors. Experience of working in the criminal justice sector or in a customer service focused environment would be of benefit. A suitable candidate must hold a full driving licence.
