Tax & Succession Solicitors - Edinburgh.

NQ to PQ4 - £DOE - + Excellent Benefits Package

Top tier firm recognised as being experts within their field, has immediate career opportunities for solicitors to join their Tax & Succession teams. 

Our client is open to candidates who will qualify in 2024 and who wish to carve out their legal career within this specialist practice area. 

In addition, experienced solicitors  with 4 years pqe are encouraged to apply. Ideally, you will be will be a qualified Scottish Solicitor, however, our client is open to applications from English & Welsh qualified solicitors who are committed to undertake the transfer exam. 

The roles will principally be based in our clients Edinburgh office; however, our client supports a hybrid working approach. 

Our client is also open to both part-time or full-time candidates. 

The firms Tax & Succession solicitors advise individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning including succession planning, trusts, partnerships and asset protection for high net worth families, as well as dealing with the administration of complex estates and drafting relevant legal documents such as Wills and Powers of Attorney. 

In providing advice to clients, you will work with other tax and succession, land and property, business law, charity law, family law, employment law and litigation experts to ensure that fully integrated holistic advice is given to our clients.

As you will become a trusted adviser and sounding board to your clients, you will need to have an interest in people and their affairs, whilst acting with discretion and empathy.  

In order to be successful, you will be a strong team player with sound practical and technical experience and an enthusiasm to develop your technical skills and legal career further in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  Candidates will be expected to undertake STEP qualification if not already STEP-qualified. 

You will be self-sufficient, commercially aware and able to handle a wide variety of challenging work with minimum supervision.
