£60,000 - £65000K  (DOE) + Excellent Benefits Package.

Role and responsibilities:

Working as part of their established team, the successful applicant will carry out a full range of private client work with a particular focus on estate and succession planning for high net-worth clients with business and farming interests across Scotland and further afield, multi-million-pound executries and family trust work.

Previous experience of Private Client work is essential.

Core responsibilities

Dealing with the administration of estates, both alongside senior colleagues and independently
Drafting Wills, relevant letters of wishes, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills
Assisting with the establishment, administration and wind up of family Trusts and Charities, including personal injury Trusts
Advising on Inheritance Tax and other Capital Tax planning
Contributing to the Team Business Development strategy
Delivering CPD updates upon request.

Person specification

Experience of working in a Private Client Team is essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Willing to engage in, and be committed to ongoing professional development and guidance
Keenness to become involved with business development activities
Committed to ongoing research and exploration of relevant materials and information
Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, seeking advice when required
Accountable for meeting deadlines and maintaining appropriate communication with the client
Committed to providing clients with sector leading advice and guidance
