Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior project finance lawyer to join a top-tier Energy & Infrastructure Finance team based in Edinburgh.

This position is ideal for a finance lawyer with 7 years’+ PQE who is looking to work on high-value energy projects and infrastructure transactions. The team advises a range of clients - including lenders, developers, and institutional investors - on complex project finance matters spanning renewables, battery storage, transport, and digital infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

• Advise clients on the full lifecycle of finance deals - from structuring to financial close
• Work closely with banks, developers, funds, and energy companies
• Join a collaborative team with strong sector knowledge
• Take early responsibility and help build long-term client relationships

What they’re looking for:

• At least 7 years’ PQE in finance law
• Experience in project finance or related areas (energy/infrastructure experience is a bonus)
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A collaborative and proactive approach
