Our client, a well-established international organisation, is currently recruiting for an In-house Commercial Solicitor specialising in Privacy and Compliance to join its Legal and Licence team in Edinburgh.

Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to make a difference in a legal role, as the organisation’s sole purpose is to raise funds for charities and good causes worldwide. It is not often that legal professionals have the chance to contribute directly to such meaningful work.

This position offers a dynamic and purpose-driven environment, where the successful candidate will provide Data Protection and Privacy support across the business. Additionally, they will assist with compliance matters, ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE
  • Have commercial experience, either in-house or in private practice
  • Possess data protection expertise or a strong interest in the area
  • Be able to work in Edinburgh (hybrid working is available)

This role offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for both personal and professional development. Flexible working arrangements will also be considered. If this opportunity interests you, please contact Cameron or Frasia for a confidential discussion. (Assignment 16966)
