An excitng and truly unique opportunity is currently available for an ambitious Rural Property Senior Associate who is seeking their next career move to either Legal Director or Partner level within this highly regarded firm.

Our client is seeking an individual who possesses depth of  experience dealing with the sale and purchase of rural property, crofting, renewables, agricultural holdings and general estate work.

Their client base is extremely diverse, providing an opportunity to work alongside industry experts within this field. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take the reins of the Rural department and build and shape their team as the department evolves.  

Key Tasks;

·       Manage your caseload professionally and act as a role model to others in the delivery of excellent client service.

 

·       Promote the services of the firm to all clients, actively networking and seeking new contacts, and develop and convert your contacts into new business.

 

·       Purchase and sale of estates, farms, woodlands, minerals, rural houses and fishing rights.

 

·       Advise landlords and tenants on agricultural and croft tenancies.

 

·       Drafting and advising on commercial leases and other contracts, including those related to renewable development, in the rural context.

 

·       Advise on changes and developments in the law as applied to rural Scotland.

 

·       General rural conveyancing.
