Superb opportunity for an amitious Solicitors to join top tier firm with a netwrok of ofices throughout Scotland.
The firm has an enviable list of clients – developers, investors, landowners, funders, communities and planning authorities – principally working in Scotland's renewable energy industry.
The ideal candidates may be a Solicitors currently working in an energy role or a Solicitors with a commercial property or rural background and who wish to transfer into a dynamic and growing industry.
The role will include drafting and negotiating documents such as exclusivity agreements, options and leases for developers and landowners, carrying out due diligence on existing projects for investors and funders, assisting clients involved in the renewables supply chain and generally supporting clients with their legal requirements in this fast-moving industry.
Projects are predominately in the wind, hydro, rooftop and ground-mounted solar, battery storage and marine sectors. Green hydrogen projects are increasingly attracting more attention.
