Professional Indemnity Solicitor (1-5 years')

Job Description

A leading law firm is looking for a professional indemnity solicitor to join its growing Insurance team in Edinburgh. The team specialises in professional indemnity work and is led by top-ranked Partners and experienced individuals. 

What the role involves:

• Defending claims made against professionals such as lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, education providers, and insurance brokers
• Working closely with insurers and other clients
• Managing interesting and varied cases
• Developing both legal and client relationship skills

What they are looking for:

• Someone who enjoys solving problems and thinking critically
• Organised and able to manage their time and workload
• Motivated and curious to learn
• Experience in litigation is helpful (insurance or commercial litigation preferred, but not essential)
