Job Description

Hours: Full-Time

Level/Grade: The ideal candidate will be at least 2yrs +PQE

Reporting to: Janine Toland (Partner) LOCATION: 97 East Main Street, Broxburn, EH52 5EE

Annual Salary Range: Salary commensurate with experience

Job Oveview:

A fantastic opportunity has emerged within our highly regarded Private Client team seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Paralegal.

The successful candidate should be capable of managing their caseload, liaising directly with clients and seeing through a private client transaction from the outset to conclusion.

This is an office based position.

 

The Firm:

W&AS Bruce was established in the early 1980’s. Over a number of years, we have increased the number of branches, with offices now located in Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Dundee, Broxburn and Burntisland. Our main Dunfermline office is located at 80 St. Margaret Street,Dunfermline. We have many long-standing employees, who have enjoyed working with the firmover decades. We pride ourselves on being able to offer an excellent work/life balance. We offer great opportunities for personal progression as a Private Client Solicitor, career development and partnership.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

You will become part of a friendly and inclusive team that is dedicated to delivering a top- notch level ofservice to all clients.

You will have the chance to handle a diverse caseload of private client matters from start to finish, including Estate and Tax Planning, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Guardianships, Trusts and handlingissues related to incapacity.

This role also requires regular interaction with clients at a high level. As a successful candidate, you'llhave experience in working as part of a team, whilst also being a self-starter and will be confident inproviding assistance and guidance to your colleagues. While a STEP qualification is preferred, it is not essential.
