This leading law firm is currently recruiting a Private Client Lawyer to join its successful Personal and Family practice.

Job Description

This flexible role offers the opportunity to be based remotely or from one of the firm’s Scottish offices, with agreed attendance for client meetings and team collaboration. The position involves working closely with experienced professionals across the firm to deliver expert advice on private client matters.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years’ PQE level and can be either Scottish qualified, or dual-qualified, in England & Wales. Experience in drafting wills, powers of attorney, trust and estate administration, and estate planning is essential. The role also includes advising high-net-worth clients on complex matters, such as cross-border tax and succession issues, while supporting the development of the firm’s English law private client offering. STEP qualification is desirable but not required.

Key responsibilities include managing client relationships, providing tailored legal advice, and contributing to business development activities aligned with the practice’s strategic objectives.
