We are currently working with our client, an international organisation, specialising in infrastructure projects, is currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join its busy In-House Legal Team in Glasgow on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to offer proactive legal support to the business by delivering expert guidance, pragmatic advice, and hands-on assistance with legal and compliance issues. Main responsibilities will include:

Negotiating and reviewing construction contracts, JV agreements, PCGs, warranties, and bonds; advise on contract administration, disputes, and claims.
Fostering relationships with managers and employees to align legal support with business needs.
Collaborating with UK Commercial, Treasury, and Group Legal teams to arrange bonds and PCGs.
Ensuring personal compliance with all regulations and company policies.

To be considered for this position, you will possess a minimum of 2 years’ PQE with good knowledge and understanding of the construction/infrastructure industry. However, individuals with less PQE may also be considered if they display the correct skills and experience.
