We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications executive to join the Law Society of Scotland.

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, creative and high performing professional to join our Communications team, bringing their skills and expertise to help us evolve our internal communications and engagement outcomes and impacts.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

The Communications Executive reports in to the Head of Communications and plays an important role within a busy communications team with a wide and varied remit. The team is responsible for maximising engagement with a range of audiences from Law Society of Scotland members, the media, public and parliamentarians, and our internal stakeholders who include colleagues and our governing Council and committees.

Our staff team and community of volunteers do fantastic work and as internal communications executive, you will play a key and specialist role within the Communications team, as we seek to maximise engagement with our internal audiences.

The role manages existing comms, which include our weekly videos and newsletters and monthly townhall meetings and will have additional responsibility for gathering feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing new engagement exercises.

You will advise on best practice, feed into and support strategy development and implementing internal communications plans to improve and measure internal engagement.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

You will be a motivated and high performing team player, with an excellent communications and engagement track record. You will have a flair for developing and delivering content across a range of channels for our internal audiences and your excellent attention to detail will be balanced with the ability to see the bigger picture and contribute to our overarching strategy.
