A leading team is seeking a healthcare litigation solicitor (NQ-5) to join its top-ranked healthcare practice in Edinburgh.

Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to manage complex clinical negligence and abuse claims, working with major indemnifiers, insurers, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and charities.

The Role

  • Handling a varied caseload of clinical negligence and abuse claims
  • Providing strategic legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Collaborating with specialists across litigation, regulatory, and public inquiries teams
  • Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and ensuring compliance with client requirements

About You

  • A qualified solicitor (NQ-5 PQE) with litigation experience
  • Background in personal injury is beneficial; experience in clinical negligence or abuse claims is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
