Data Protection Lawyer – Glasgow/Edinburgh or Dundee.

Leading law firm with offices located throughout Scotland had immediate career openings for experienced Data Protection Lawyers to join their teams based Glasgow/Edinburgh and Dundee.
The firm are highly regarded within this specialist sector, their Data Protection team are known for delivering innovative and commercially-driven legal solutions and providing their diverse client base with a fully outsourced data protection service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Advising clients on all aspects of data protection, privacy laws, and compliance (including GDPR).
· Drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, privacy notices, and other related documentation.
· Assisting clients with data breach management, reporting, and investigations.
· Advise on complex Subject Access Requests (SARs) and other data subject requests. Support clients in responding to and resolving personal data breaches, including liaising with the ICO. Data Protection Lawyer Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee Conduct data protection gap analyses and support the implementation of compliance plans.
· Keeping up to date with regulatory developments in data protection law.
· Supporting the wider team on commercial contracts and other legal matters as required.
We are interested to hear from Qualified solicitor in Scotland with a good understanding of data protection laws.
Experience in data protection, privacy law, and GDPR compliance.
Strong analytical skills and a commercial approach to providing legal solutions.
Ability to deliver commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a client-focused attitude.
Strong interest in technology, data, and evolving regulations in the digital age.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proactive approach to solving problems for clients and colleagues.
