Job Opportunity: Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor
Location: Glasgow
A great opportunity has become available for a solicitor to join a leading infrastructure team, specialising in non-contentious construction law. This permanent role offers the chance to collaborate on high-profile property developments, regeneration projects, and major engineering initiatives, particularly in the energy sector, across the UK.
Role Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law
Proven experience with construction contracts, development agreements and related documentation
A good understanding of handling projects for diverse clients, including developers, contractors, public sector bodies and funders
Responsibilities:
Advise on construction aspects of property developments, regeneration projects and energy sector initiatives
Draft and negotiate building contracts, bonds, guarantees, professional appointments and related agreements
Build and maintain client relationships while contributing to business development activities
Skills:
Technical expertise in non-contentious construction law
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues
