Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced solicitor to join a leading infrastructure team specialising in non-contentious construction. This role, based in Glasgow, focuses on advising on the construction aspects of major property developments, regeneration and significant engineering projects across the UK, particularly within the energy sector.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years’ PQE in Non-Contentious Construction Law
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, development agreements and related documentation
Proven ability to handle complex, high-value projects across various industries, including property and energy sectors
Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate construction agreements such as building contracts, bonds, guarantees and professional appointments
Provide legal advice to a diverse client base, including developers, contractors, public sector bodies, funders and consultants
Contribute to business development initiatives, including marketing activities, client events and cross-selling opportunities
Skills:
Excellent drafting and technical abilities in Construction Law
Strong business development and client relationship management skills
Effective time management and organisational skills to handle complex workloads
