Job Description

The firm currently seeks a Newly Qualified solicitor to join its highly regarded Banking & Finance team on a full-time basis in Edinburgh.

You will support the team in a wide range of transactional and banking advisory work, including project finance, real estate finance, and corporate funding. Key tasks will include:

Providing advice to clients on banking issues, including drafting, and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, and legal opinions for various types of financing.
Conducting legal research and preparing documents for client advice or broader publication.
Managing transactional projects and collaborating with other practice areas on multi-disciplinary matters.
Delivering focused, level-appropriate training internally.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about banking work and commercially and profit focused. While some general banking experience is preferred, it is not essential, as additional training will be provided as needed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team with excellent career progression opportunities. If this position could be of interest to you, please do not hesitate to contact either Steph or Jade for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 16205)
